Ski Touring

East of Hotel Langtaufererhof, embedded in the snowcapped Ötztal glaciers along the main Alpine ridge, extends one of the most fascinating ski touring areas in the entire Alps. Demanding glacier tours up to the Weißkugel (3,739 m), Weißseespitze (3,532 m), Äußere Bärenbartkogel (3,409 m) Freibrunner  and Langtauferer Spitz summits (3,375 m and 3,526 m) are challenges tours even to experienced ski tourers.
